Delamination of Laminated Packaging Refuse

The invention relates to a process for recovery of useful constituents from multilayer laminated fragments arising as waste from industrial packaging manufacture. It relates more particularly to recovery of polyethylene plastic and aluminium foil from multilayered, laminated fragments containing these materials. According to the process disclosed, the delamination of the laminated constituents of the packaging waste fragments is carried out by keeping the fragments immersed in nitric acid of 50 - 70 % concentration at ambient temperature for 3 to 6 hour duration. The aluminium foils get fully separated from the plastics and the constituents remain in a submerged/floating condition. The delaminated constituents are removed from the nitric acid bath and allowed to pass through a series of bath for washing and separation of the materials. The fragments of separated aluminium foils and separated plastic are centrifuged to dryness and then allowed a sun bath for total drying. The separated fragments of aluminium foils can be used for producing aluminium ingots or sold as such. Similarly the separated fragments of plastic can be used for producing recycled plastic granules or sold as such.

  • Ventilation Box
The present invention relates to a ventilation board, an insulating board, a ventilation system, and articles and architectural applications comprising said ventilation board and a method of manufacturing the ventilation board. The said ventilation board comprises a layer (11) provided with a first aperture (5); an adjacent layer provided (13) with a second aperture (7), the first and second apertures being located relative to each other such that they are non-aligned and are substantially without overlap; and a passageway (9) interconnecting the first and second apertures thereby permitting the passage of fluid therebetween.; Therefore, the carton comprising said ventilation board when used for fast food packaging provides sufficient ventilation of the carton so that water condensed from food vapors does not run on to the food in the carton, and sufficient insulation so that the food in the carton is kept warm.

  • Transferring Television Settings to Configure Televisions
A system and method for transferring television configuration settings from a primary television having preset television settings to automatically configure a secondary television is descried. A user can connect a removable memory device to the primary television. The primary television can extract television configuration settings from the memory of the television and export the settings to the removable memory device. The television configuration settings are stored in the removable memory device as a file having one or more file formats wherein the file is readable and editable and therefore the file can be prioritized based on user preference. The removable memory device can be connected to the secondary television. The secondary television can extract the television configuration settings from the removable memory device and import them to the memory of the secondary television such that the secondary television is automatically configured with the television configuration settings of the primary television.
