Dewang is a Fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, and a Law graduate. His extensive professional background encompasses various aspects of corporate law, corporate advisory, and expertise in dealing with regulatory matters involving RBI, FEMA, and M&A transactions and has successfully advised many clients, ranging from Fortune 500 Companies to MNCs and entrepreneurs across various industries.
With his extensive experience Dewang has managed complex transaction advisory services, company incorporations, joint-venture formation, restructuring, Mergers & Acquisitions, company closures and actively engages in providing legal assistance to the Companies on the matters related to, India entry strategies, FEMA Law (Viz., Foreign Direct Investments, outward deals, External Commercial Borrowings (ECB) and the establishment of Branch, Project & Liaison Offices), Labour Laws, FOCC, POEM, LLP’s and Companies Act related matters.
Additionally, Dewang is actively involved in corporate due diligence processes and has a proven track record of effectively liaising and representing the companies before regulatory authorities, including the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Registrar of Companies, Regional Director and the Reserve Bank of India.
