Israeli Firm Cardiacsense To Sell Vital Signs Measuring Medical Watches In India

CardiacSense, a Caesarea, Israel based major developer of wearable technology for continuous cardiac arrhythmia detection and non-inflating blood pressure monitoring has signed a deal to deal its medical watches in India. The deal has been signed with Xplore Lifestyle Solutions, a broad-based Indian distributor of Fitness, Medical fitness, Physical rehab, Sports sciences and other health diagnostic solutions for Sports and Wellness applications.

The agreement is for 150,000 watches valued at USD 32.4 million and will be carried out over the next four years. The watch is outfitted with the most diverse vital sign measurement capabilities in a single wearable deviceand can monitor vital signs like temperature, respiratory rate, heart rate, blood pressure and blood oxygen saturation and can be used in hospitals, home hospitalizations and patient monitoring.

The watch uses a combination of patent-protected technology of optical indicators with temperature, movement and pressure sensors in order to monitor the vital physical measurements at precise level equivalent to an ECG. The device can detectcardiac arrhythmias and heart failure and if required, can also transmit data directly to a patient/ wearer’s physician. It can even meetthe demands of general health and fitness enthusiasts looking for a good wearable device capable of measuring diverse vital signs with high accuracy.
