Antony is a Director and Partner at Khurana & Khurana. He is a registered Indian patent agent and has over 19 years’ experience in patent matters in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceuticals and life-sciences. He has extensive experience in the full range of patent services including patent specification drafting, worldwide patent prosecution and opposition, patentability assessment, infringement analysis and freedom-to-operate investigations. He previously worked as in-house patent professional in research based pharmaceutical and chemical companies, including Neuland Laboratories and Shasun Pharmaceuticals. Prior to entering the patent field, he gained hands-on experience in pharmaceutical research and development, particularly synthesis, purification and characterization of organic molecules and active pharmaceutical ingredients, with Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceutical Ltd. Antony post-graduated from Bharathidasan University, Tamil Nadu specializing in Chemistry. He is a certified Patent Agent with Indian Patent Office and also holds PG diploma in patents law from NALSAR University of Law Hyderabad.
