The Importance Of Original Content In An Ai-Generated Industrial Shift
Introduction
Information technology is advancing every day, with Artificial Intelligence (AI) leading the way. AI has gained immense popularity, especially after the launch of Open AI’s Chat GPT. The reason for popularity of such tools is their ability to generate content in mere minute which used to take hours of human efforts. These tools learn from human writing patterns and continuously update themselves to match the level of human creation. This is the reason why people are getting more dependent upon these tools. This article will mainly focus on the impact of AI on content creation and will also analyze the reliability of the content that is generated by these tools. Additionally, it will discuss whether the content created by AI tools will replace the value of originality and what could be the predictable impacts of such tools in the future.

The Rising Shift In Modern Content Creation
AI is revolutionizing the way content is created, and its impact is being felt across various industries. Earlier people used to spend hours conducting research, reading multiple books, and consulting experts in the field to create content. However, nowadays, they are often seen completing their work with the help of AI tools without applying their critical thinking skills. These AI tools provide readily available answers in seconds using natural language processing (NLP)[1] that enables machines to understand human language, supporting their ability to produce more interesting content that resonates with their audience. These automated content creation tools can produce articles, blog posts, social media posts, auto generated emails, and many more. These programs analyze data and produce pertinent and interesting content using algorithms for natural language processing. While these tools may have short-term benefits for people in writing their content, in the long run, reliance on them will ultimately impact their skill development and creative thinking.
Problems Associated With Ai-Generated Content
1. Lack Of Authenticity
The content created by an Artificial intelligence model may contribute to the spread of false information sometimes because of the inability of the model to verify the accuracy of the information. This might happen when the model receives false or misleading information during the training process. The consequences of this could be serious, especially when people apply this misinformation in their work.AI produces results based on the vast amount of information available on the internet, which encompasses both good and bad aspects of human behavior. Sometimes, because of its inability to detect, the content it produces may contain hate speech, which can result in the propagation of any misinformation or propaganda.
2. Plagiarism Issue
Using AI-generated content without verifying can lead to Plagiarism because AI algorithms learn from existing information and copy it closely. So when a person is using AI- generated content there is a high chance that the content is might just rephrased version of existing material that inadvertently resembles existing works, leading to accusations of plagiarism. Therefore, it is essential to be careful while using these generated contents to ensure its genuineness and uniqueness of the content.
3. Lack Of Creativity And Personalization
Creative content helps people to connect more, but AI lacks the emotional intelligence to produce creative and personalized content. These tools lack intuition and creativity because they rely on pre-programmed algorithms and data processing to function. Although AI can provide users with access to a lot of information, it often lacks originality and creativity. AI-generated content might not be as attractive to users as the original content because it lacks a personal touch and unique perspective, therefore It cannot take the place of human creativity and emotional intelligence.
4. Legal Issues
The increased use of AI has raised concerns about whether AI-generated content can be protected under copyright laws or not, as per the definition of Section 2(d) of the Copyright Act[2], ‘author’ is the ‘person’ who causes the work to be created in case of literary work which is a computer-generated person should fall under the domain of an ‘author.’ However, this prevents AI from having any authorship because it is neither a juristic nor a natural person. If an AI system generates its work without the intervention of a human, determining the rightful copyright owner becomes even more challenging. As of now, the Copyright Act does not safeguard any work that is wholly generated by an AI[3] therefore; granting authorship rights to AI-generated work is complex and has significant implications. AI cannot enforce its copyright work against potential infringement or be sued for potentially infringing existing copyrighted work. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt measures to address the challenges posed by AI-generated content.
Evolution Of Ai Text Detection Algorithms
AI-generated text is becoming increasingly common, and as a result, AI-detecting tools are also on the rise. Therefore, we can use AI against AI[4] to analyze and verify the trustworthiness of the content created. Many AI tools can calculate the likelihood of text being generated by machines rather than humans. Popular plagiarism-detecting tool Turnitin has launched its own AI detector. Whereas there are also many free AI-detecting tools as well that can check AI-written text up to a certain level.
Future Of Ai
The increasing use of AI tools and automated systems is a cause for concern as it can threaten human autonomy and capabilities[5]. AI tools make decisions based on their digital life inputs, which can deepen dependence on machine-driven networks that could erode human abilities to think for themselves and interact effectively with others. Most AI tools are in the hands of companies striving for profits, which increases the probability of not being paid much attention to values and ethics. It is predicted that code-based machine intelligence will continue to disrupt most of the aspects of human work, including massive job losses, widening social disruption, etc. However, AI is likely to be embedded in most human endeavors and can affect portions of many jobs to a greater or lesser degree, depending on the type of work they entail.
Conclusion
While AI-generated content has revolutionized content creation it cannot rely upon them entirely as it can lead to a number of legal, moral, and policy-related difficulties. Therefore, to maintain a balance between original content created by human intelligence should be valued[6] where AI could be used as a supplementary resource to aid the learning journey. Furthermore, there is a need to pass new to regulate these tools to ensure that it is used ethically and responsibly.
